The primary responsibility of the Lottery Field Service Technician II is to maintain and service IGT equipment at retailer locations. This includes responding to dispatches, driving to customer locations within a designated zone, delivering supplies, and installing, removing, or repairing lottery equipment and communication devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Field Service: Respond to dispatches and travel to customer locations to service IGT equipment. Tasks include installation, removal, and repair of lottery equipment and communication devices.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure continuous operation of IGT equipment by troubleshooting and restoring malfunctioning devices, which may involve swapping failed components, cleaning, and minor adjustments.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with dispatchers, accurately reporting activities, arrival and departure times, and details of equipment failures and resolutions.
  • Inventory and Training: Deliver marketing supplies and consumable parts, track inventory, and provide basic training to new retailers or refresher training to existing retailers.
  • Documentation: Complete forms for reporting activities, equipment problems, and recommendations for procedural improvements.
  • Vehicle Use: Attend driver training and adhere to IGT’s vehicle policy for the use and maintenance of the company vehicle.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Technical or IT-related training is a plus.
  • Experience: A minimum of 4 years in electronics, repair, field service, or a related industry is required.
  • Skills: Proficiency in electronics and data communications, ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds, and capability to work at heights and in close quarters. Dexterity with tools and handling electrical current is essential.

  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4 pm
