Role Overview:
- Develop and execute community engagement and growth strategies.
- Oversight of volunteers supporting gaming programs and services.
- Manage and organize USO Gaming's virtual hubs on platforms like Discord, Twitch, and Twitter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Community Strategies: Build strategies to drive growth, retention, and community engagement.
- Initiatives & Events: Develop and manage community events, contests, promotions, and partnerships.
- Content Management: Develop content strategies and manage content calendars.
- Volunteer Management: Train and coordinate USO Gaming Volunteers.
- Program Analysis: Analyze and report on content and program performance, focusing on continuous improvement.
Job Requirements:
- Experience: 3-5 years in online-based events, nonprofit work, project management, and gaming.
- Skills: Strong organizational, business, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Technology: Proficiency in gaming computers, software, and event-support programs.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing needs.
- Advocacy: Must be a strong advocate for the USO’s mission.
