Job Overview:

  • DraftKings is seeking a Director of Responsible Gaming to lead its Responsible Gaming (RG) program.
  • The role reports directly to the Chief Responsible Gaming Officer.
  • It involves collaboration with Government Affairs, Communications, and Legal teams.
  • The Director will execute strategies related to both reactive and proactive Responsible Gaming policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • External Representation: Represent DraftKings with external stakeholders such as state officials, attorneys general, and associations.
  • Understanding the Business: Develop a deep understanding of DraftKings' RG Program, products, and broader business objectives.
  • Campaign Planning: Work with stakeholders to create and implement campaigns to elevate the company's RG efforts.
  • Advisory Role: Provide proactive advice and counsel to raise awareness of DraftKings' RG initiatives and mitigate risks.
  • Monitoring Industry Trends: Stay informed on consumer protection developments within the gaming industry to provide timely insights.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Responsible Gaming FAST Team and across departments to execute strategies.

Requirements:

  • Preferred Qualification: Juris Doctorate (JD).
  • Experience: Knowledge of Consumer Protection laws in technology, gaming, or other regulated markets in the U.S.
  • Skills: Strong collaboration, communication, and leadership skills; ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Flexibility: Must be willing to travel as needed.
  • Gaming License: May require obtaining a gaming license depending on the state of employment.
