EL/WLA Sports Betting Seminar 2026

The EL/WLA Sports Betting Seminar 2026, organised jointly by European Lotteries (EL) and the World Lottery Association (WLA), will take place from 19 to 21 May 2026 in Istanbul, bringing together lottery and sports betting professionals from across the sector for three days of expert insight, discussion, and networking.

Designed for operators, regulators, suppliers, and sector stakeholders, the seminar will explore the evolving landscape of sports betting and the strategic challenges facing legal lottery markets in an increasingly competitive environment. Participants will gain practical perspectives on emerging technologies, changing consumer behaviour, and the opportunities shaping the future of regulated sports betting.

The programme will address key priorities for the sector, including integrity in sports betting markets, responsible gaming approaches, and strategies to combat illegal betting activity. It will also examine innovation in betting products and services, as well as broader market developments influencing the role of lotteries within national and international betting ecosystems.
