Less Paper, Bigger Impact brings lottery sustainability leaders together to explore practical, proven ways to reduce paper consumption and the environmental impact of paper-based products across the lottery sector.

Britta Groß, Sustainability Manager at Lotto Baden-Württemberg, will share how the lottery has approached paper reduction across its business and the measurable outcomes behind its work. She will walk through practical tactics and internal process changes across four key areas: in-store digitalisation, changes to marketing materials, switching to recycled paper, and behind-the-scenes behaviour changes that have helped reduce paper use.

Andrew Jackson, Vice President, Corporate Responsibility at Scientific Games, will then look specifically at how to reduce the environmental impact of the board used to produce scratch cards. His session will explore considerations including board selection and ticket design, FSC certification, the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), and the use of recycled content.

This is an opportunity to hear directly from organisations already putting these approaches into practice, ask questions and share experiences with other sustainability professionals.

Participants will come away with practical tactics, examples and evidence they can bring back to their own sustainability plans.
