WoTA Webinar: "Sustainability & CSR for Technology Providers"

WoTA Webinar: "Sustainability & CSR for Technology Providers"

Date: 📅 October 2025 (Exact date to be confirmed)

This upcoming World Tote Association (WoTA) webinar will focus on how sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR) principles can be applied to technology providers in the betting and lottery sector.

As part of broader ESG goals, operators are increasingly expected to assess and reduce the social and environmental impact across their supply chain. This includes working closely with suppliers to align expectations and embed responsible practices throughout procurement and service delivery.

The webinar will highlight how supplier codes of conduct, assessment frameworks, and auditing tools are being introduced by some lotteries to ensure their partners meet clearly defined standards.

Key Discussion Points

  • Reducing Impact Along the Value Chain: How operators and suppliers can collaborate to minimise environmental and social risks.
  • Supplier Codes of Conduct: Best practices for implementing clear standards and expectations across the supply chain.
  • Assessment Tools & Methods: From questionnaires and IT systems to on-site audits — how compliance and performance are being measured.
  • Building Responsible Partnerships: Why collaboration between operators and suppliers is essential for long-term ESG success.
