EL Corporate University Executive 2027

The EL Corporate University Executive 2027 will take place in Dublin, Ireland, from 31 May to 2 June 2027, hosted by Premier Lotteries Ireland (PLI).

The Executive Module is the second module of the EL Corporate University programme. It is open to lottery executives with more than three years of experience and is particularly relevant for professionals who have previously participated in the ELCU Induction Module.

Designed for experienced lottery professionals across all disciplines and functions, the module combines expert presentations with interactive, lottery-based case studies. Participants are expected to actively contribute to round-table discussions, analyse real-life situations and exchange perspectives with peers from across the sector.

The programme will explore key areas and activities of a modern lottery, including the relationship between lotteries and regulators, privatisation and commercialisation, market research and data analytics, game design, responsible gaming, retail network management, electronic and physical draws, PR and communications, social media, and management of the public face of the lottery.

Case studies are based on real lottery experiences and will be discussed in small teams before being explored in plenary sessions. Teams will be regularly reformed throughout the programme, giving participants the opportunity to work with different colleagues, exchange experiences and build new professional connections.

The event will be moderated by Ray Bates, EL Honorary President and former Director of the Irish National Lottery. The programme also includes contributions from lottery and subject matter experts, including Cian Murphy, National Lottery Director at PLI; Piet Van Baeveghem, EL Secretary General; and Matt Osgood, Lottery Development Director at The Football Pools.

The event will begin with a welcome dinner on 31 May and conclude with lunch on 2 June. All sessions will be conducted exclusively in English.
