The ELCU-EXECUTIVE program is an initiative of the European Lotteries Association (EL), which aims to develop and enhance the leadership and management skills of lottery professionals. The program consists of several modules that cover different topics related to the lottery industry, and the second module is scheduled to take place in Lausanne, Switzerland from 18-20 April 2023, hosted by Loterie Romande.

The second module is designed for professional staff from regular EL Members and Associate Members who have ample experience in the lottery industry. The module is designed to provide an opportunity for participants to actively participate in and contribute to round-table discussions on case studies exploring critical Lottery topics. The event will begin with formal presentations and interviews with lottery experts on selected current lottery topics, followed by a full day of case studies covering all the principal areas and activities of a modern lottery.

The program is designed to be interactive and engaging, and each case study will be allocated 30 minutes. Half of this time will be spent in group discussions and the other half in a full plenary session led by the Moderator. Participants will be allocated to teams, ensuring a good mix of experience and skills. These teams will be reconstituted and reformed regularly during the day to keep discussions fresh and dynamic and to allow participants to network and make new contacts.

The event promises to be an exciting opportunity for participants to learn from experts in the lottery industry, network with peers from different countries, and share their experiences and insights on critical lottery topics. The module covers a wide range of topics, including marketing and sales strategies, responsible gaming, digitalization and innovation, and social impact.

One of the key features of the event is the round-table discussions on case studies. These discussions provide participants with the opportunity to delve into specific topics and explore different perspectives and approaches. The discussions are facilitated by experienced moderators who encourage participation and ensure that all voices are heard.

The module is hosted by Loterie Romande, one of the leading lotteries in Switzerland. The event takes place in Lausanne, a beautiful city on the shores of Lake Geneva, which is known for its stunning scenery, rich culture, and vibrant nightlife. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the city and its surroundings, network with colleagues from different countries, and enjoy the Swiss hospitality.
