The Oklahoma Association on Problem Gambling and Gaming (OAPGG) presents the Basic Training for Problem Gambling, a comprehensive 4-day program tailored for counselors, peer support specialists, and other professionals working in addiction and mental health services. The training is designed to provide a strong foundation in understanding and treating gambling addiction, offering essential tools and resources to support individuals struggling with this issue.

Thanks to funding from the Midwest Conference on Problem Gambling and Substance Abuse (MCPGSA), the training is offered free of charge to participants from Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Oklahoma.
For participants outside of these states, a registration fee of $300 applies.
Participants will earn CE credits, helping them meet professional development requirements while enhancing their skills.
