This role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our supplier management and quality assurance processes. Responsibilities:

1. Supplier Management:

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conducting thorough assessments of their capabilities, reliability, and performance.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely communication and prompt resolution of any issues or concerns.
  • Monitor supplier performance, including delivery schedules, product quality, and compliance with contractual agreements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing supplier selection, and enhancing overall supply chain efficiency.

 

2. Quality Assurance:

  • Develop and implement robust quality control processes to ensure adherence to established standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of suppliers to verify compliance with quality specifications and best practices.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product quality, working closely with suppliers to address root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Track and analyze quality metrics, preparing reports and recommendations for management review and decision-making.

 

3. Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of supplier performance, quality audits, and compliance documentation.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on supplier evaluations, quality metrics, and improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and update standard operating procedures, work instructions, and quality documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and certifications.

 

4. Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization within the supplier management and quality assurance functions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to implement best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in supplier management and quality assurance practices, recommending appropriate strategies for enhancing Sharp Brains' competitiveness.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in supplier management, quality assurance, or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management principles, processes, and tools.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards relevant to the industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software applications, such as Microsoft Office suite and supplier management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
